Tips, Posts, and Announcements

Ditch the Car, and Let GoPhillyGo help you enjoy fun by the water this Summer.

The breeze is always better by the water, and the best way to enjoy it is to be out on it in a canoe, kayak, or other watercraft. You don’t need to own a car to enjoy the fun of boating, and you can use GoPhillyGo to plan walking, biking, and transit trips to places where you are provided with everything you need to get out on the water. Take kayak tours of the Schuylkill River, and enjoy the river breeze without the hassle of traffic, parking, and hauling your own boat.

All you need to do is visit www.gophillygo.org or download the GoPhillyGo Android app to your mobile device for directions to parks, trails, on-water events, and more. We made a list of some fun places where you can enjoy a paddle in a canoe or kayak, and included a few other ways for you to enjoy the watershed up close in case boating isn’t your thing. Whichever you choose, double down on your commitment to the environment, and save yourself from parking, traffic, and high gas prices by using GoPhillyGo this summer.
