Before COVID-19, one of Parks on Tap’s best features was that the pop-up beer garden traveled to different parks all summer. However, since 2020, Parks on Tap has been limited to a few locations around Philadelphia, with a residency this year at the Fairmount Water Works. We always loved the idea of highlighting a different park each week with local food and drink, so that’s why we were excited to hear that starting this week, Parks on Tap will once again be traveling to five different parks in September. That’s right, Philly’s best traveling beer garden is on the move again, and GoPhillyGo is the easiest way to plan car free trips to Parks on Tap.
All you need to do is download the GoPhillyGo Android app or visit and save the GoPhillyGo mobile website to your device’s home screen to get directions to Parks on Tap, and other exciting outdoor destinations nearby like the Delaware River Trail, Schuylkill River Trail, and more!
Parks on Tap kicks is open now through Sunday at Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown. Drinking and driving is a terrible idea, so do yourself and the environment a favor and plan a walking or transit trip to Parks on Tap with GoPhillyGo.
