Philly River Stroll Connects Three Walkable Waterfront Parks

Three of the best waterfront parks in Center City are all within walking distance of each other, and Philly River Stroll is a new way to experience each one in a socially distant setting. Starting this weekend, these places join forces to create a walkable area where visitors can stroll between destinations and enjoy local food and drink.

“The Barge” at Spruce Street Harbor Park and “Water Garden" at Cherry Street Pier both have places to sit and eat, but you will need a reservation. You can make one by following this link. Your reservation gets you a two hour window. A pop-up beer garden will be at the entrance to Race Street Pier and no reservations are required there for entry.

The GoPhillyGo Tour feature allows you to plan trips between multiple destinations with a common theme and we just added a Philly River Stroll tour to help you navigate to all three places on your visit. You can also use the Central Delaware Waterfront Tour to navigate to these destinations plus Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown and Washington Avenue Pier in South Philadelphia.

Due to the global pandemic, visitors are required to wear masks and maintain safe social distancing at all locations. Be sure to follow the most up to date CDC guidelines any time you are outdoors. Drinking and driving is dangerous and not cool, so leave the car behind and let GoPhillyGo help you get to Philly River Stroll.
