Plogging is a Swedish mashup of the words ‘jogging’ and ‘plocka upp’ (Swedish for ‘pick up’). Plogging week aims to create awareness around the effects of litter on our neighborhoods and environment. Clean Air Council, Not in Philly, Pennsylvania Resources Council, and West Philly Runners have combined forces to host the first ever Plogging Week.
The starting points are all over Philadelphia, so GoPhillyGo wants to make it easy for you to find your way to one of these events. We made a list of every starting point and linked it to our trip planner. All you need to do is plug in your location, and GoPhillyGo will plan your sustainable trip to the meet up spot. You will be going the extra mile to ensure you're doing everything possible to clean up and protect our environment!
