Lorimer Park
Lorimer Park covers 240 acres of wooded trails and meadows along the Pennypack Creek in Montgomery County. Tall pine trees and benches line the banks of the creek, and a large grassy recreational area has picnic tables and grills. Look on the side of the ranger station to see high water marks from the past 25 years. The "Council Rock" is a large outcropping of rock overlooking the creek and believed to be a place where Native Americans planned ceremonies and other activities.
