Places We Love

Pennypack Environmental Center is located just off of the Pennypack Trail in Northeast Philadelphia. The center is connected via bike lanes along Verree Rd, and a paved on ramp to the trail allows you to quick connection between the trail and bike lane. The center was originally founded as a bird sanctuary. Today it is one of Philadelphia's three environmental centers, and hosts events and programming for all ages. Check out their bird blind, and explore some of the historical buildings on the centers grounds.
