Washington Avenue Pier
Washington Avenue Pier is a hidden gem located just off Delaware Avenue. You will find a paved entrance marked by a large vertical pillar at the trailhead where Washington Avenue dead ends. Follow it through a parking lot, and the wooded path leads to gravel trails and a boardwalk over the water. The pier has gorgeous views of the Delaware River, rocky banks where you can walk down to the water's edge, and a spiral staircase leading up to a platform for visitors to gaze at the park and river from 16 ft above.
