The Discovery Center
The Discovery Center is a brand new facility located on the banks of a hidden reservoir in East Fairmount Park. The area was closed for decades to people and is now a crucial habitat for many species of birds and animals in a dense urban area. Now visitors can learn about this important stop for migratory birds and take a hike to the far side of the reservoir for an amazing skyline view.
Currently, the Discovery Center and reservoir trail is open 10am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday and 12-5pm on Sundays.
