Silver Lake Park and Nature Center
Silver Lake Park and Nature Center has 4.5 miles of trails that wind you through forests along a series of small lakes just outside of Bristol Borough. The park and nature center are walking distance from the Bristol train station, and bus routes 128 and 129. Cycling is prohibited on the nature center trails, but visitors will find a paved trail on the southern end of Silver lake along with access to fishing, picnicking and restrooms. The grounds surrounding the nature center are a perfect refuge for birds, butterflies and even a beaver. Follow the wooden walkway up to the observation deck for an outstanding view of the water, forests and meadows between Silver and Magnolia Lakes.
Trails: 4.5 mi, dirt surface with .5 mi of gravel.
