The Philadelphia Museum of Art houses a renowned collection of hundreds of years worth of art and artifacts from all over the world. Visitors can also enjoy traveling exhibits featuring works from private collections, and other art institutions across the globe. You can experience picturesque views of the Philly skyline and the Schuylkill river from atop the iconic steps along the parkway, and two gazebos that sit on rocky cliffs behind the museum. The Museum has several access points to the Schuylkill River Trail so be sure to take a ride or walk along the river while you are there.
