Help remove trash from the freshwater tidal marsh for National Public Lands Day, part of the International Coastal Cleanup. Meet at 1 Canals End Rd.
Join Heritage Conservancy and DCNR and help keep this important fresh water tidal marsh clean. Volunteers can choose to join crews removing trash from the marsh banks and trails or join DCNR guides with kayaks for a cleanup of the river and marsh. Anyone who is not comfortable with in-person events is encouraged to host a mini clean-up with their own team the week of September 21st! The more trash we collect; the less trash will get washed into our waterways!
