Arboretum Tour At The Schuylkill Center
On November 2 the Center is celebrating the opening of its accredited arboretum at the Schuylkill Center! Take a tour led by Catriona Briger, author of Philadelphia Trees, and learn more about the species in its collection. After the tour, explore the Center's forest on a guided hike led by a Schuylkill Center educator to see if you can spot the trees in our arboretum along the trail. This officially accredited arboretum is the first in Roxborough – don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn about Philadelphia’s trees and celebrate this milestone for the Schuylkill Center.
